‘The Last Overland’ launches today on All4 in the UK
Members of the Conflict International team will be at the launch of a project close to our hearts in London tonight.
The Last Overland is a new TV series and book, chronicling a 13,000 mile road trip from Singapore to London. It was planned as the return journey of a trip made in the opposite direction in 1955 – in the same Land Rover with one of the original team!
The project has been masterminded by Alex Bescoby, a historian and filmmaker, and son of our Director of Compliance, Roger Bescoby.
The trip recreated one of the 20th century’s most iconic and challenging road journeys across 23 countries and hardly anything went to plan. Watch some highlights of the trip below.
