Conflict International’s CEO, Mike LaCorte, took a trip to the city of Budapest to represent the World Association of Detectives at the IKD XIII General Assembly.

Internationale Kommission der Detektiv-Verbände (IKD) is an umbrella organisation that brings together various Associations of Investigators and Security Practitioners from across the world. The IKD seeks to promote a harmonisation of regulations towards a common minimum standard, particularly within the European Union.

“It was a pleasure to attend the General Assembly, and to be once again reunited with various senior delegates from European Associations,” Mike said; “When running an international investigations company, it is crucial to maintain relationships with Investigators across the world as you never know which jurisdiction you are likely to need help in next. Having professional bodies such as the IKD, and the WAD is crucial in maintaining high standards across the board.”

As a past president of the WAD, Mike continues to attend conferences across the globe on behalf of the organisation as well as Conflict International.
