Barcelona, venue of WAD midterm meeting

WAD hails successful midterm meeting

Over 100 members of the World Association of Detectives gathered in Barcelona, Spain for their midterm meeting.

Delegates discussed a range of issues, including changes to privacy and data protection under new GDPR laws coming into force across Europe later this month. Conflict International's Roger Bescoby hosted a seminar on the impact of the new regulations. The meeting was also a great opportunity to network with fellow members from across the globe.

WAD President Mike LaCorte said he was especially pleased to see a number of first-time attendees in Barcelona. "I have already received plenty of positive feedback from many members which makes organising these events even more satisfying. I am keen to hear from members about their personal experience and what we can do to keep this association constantly improving."

The WAD will hold its annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in September. To find out more about the work of the World Association of Detectives, please visit their website.
