Manchester's Etihad Stadium

Conflict supporting football safeguarding charity

Representatives from Conflict International will be attending a charity fundraising dinner in Manchester in aid of a safeguarding charity.

The dinner, at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on 20th April, is in aid of the SAVE Association which was founded by four men who were victims of childhood sexual abuse at their respective football clubs.

The association represents survivors with a view to becoming a registered charity offering support to victims and acting as a conduit with footballing authorities and the police to raise awareness of past safeguarding issues as well as effecting positive change in the future.

SAVE's 'Big Night Out' on 20th April will feature guest speakers and live entertainment.

Further information about the SAVE Association can be found on their website.
